Millennium Medical Billing provides services designed to increase revenue, reduce physician burnout, ensure predictable cash flow, and improve practice efficiency for multi-specialty medical groups in New Jersey and New York. We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and organized Medical Assistant (Bilingual Spanish/English) to join our clinical support team. You will work directly within managed medical office locations—supporting physicians and patients with both clinical and administrative tasks to ensure excellent care and a smooth patient experience. Responsibilities Scheduling and coordinating appointments Greeting and welcoming patients Taking and recording vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, weight) Preparing patients for exams and procedures Assisting physicians during examinations and minor in-office procedures Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens Administering medications (if certified) Updating and maintaining patient medical records Managing medical supplies and exam room readiness Insurance and billing coordination support Providing patient education, support, and post-visit instructions Education High school or equivalent (Required) Experience Medical assisting: 1 year (Preferred) Key Skills Clinical Taking vital signs, drawing blood, administering injections Assisting with examinations and procedures Administrative Scheduling, EMR entry, insurance coordination Greeting/check-in and medical record maintenance Communication Explaining procedures and services to patients Answering questions and providing support Professional interaction with physicians and clinical staff Organizational Technical Familiarity with EMR systems General computer and mobile technology fluency Personal Attributes Compassionate and empathetic Calm under pressure Strong attention to detail Positive and professional attitude Work Location In person — rotating across offices: Montvale, NJ – Primary Location Maplewood, NJ – Secondary Location Holmdel, NJ – Secondary Location Staten Island, NY – Secondary Location Additional locations as scheduled Commuting reimbursement is provided for coverage of secondary locations. The frequency and scheduling of secondary location coverage will be discussed during the recruiting process.
