Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 09/07/2026 Duration: 26 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Qualifications Must hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy OR a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy and have passed the NPTE. Must have graduated from an accredited school. Minimum one year’s experience. Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist (PT) or be actively in the process of licensure for the current state. Current CPR certification. Other requirements to be determined by the client facility. Duties & Responsibilities The Physical Therapist / PT is responsible for assessing referred patients requiring rehabilitation services, providing direct patient care, evaluating medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and potential for rehabilitation, establishing and administering a treatment program, setting realistic goals, documenting and educating patients and families. Develop a plan of care for each physical therapy patient. Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders. Assess patient needs, plan for, evaluate and modify care to meet goals of physical therapy interventions. Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
