Description: Must have CT and X-Ray experience. Required certifications include BLS, ARRT-CT, ARRT-R, California license, and Fluoroscopy. The unit has 2 scanners: Siemens Sensation 64 and GE 16 Light Speed. Shifts typically involve 10-20 scans depending on the time of day, with evenings being the busiest. Use of EMR systems such as Cerner and McKesson PACS is required. The hospitalist or intensivist is in-house, while the radiologist is not available 24/7. Nighthawk services are utilized for the night shift. Floating will require radiology floor-specific orientation. Common diagnoses and types of patients include ER patients, virtual colonography, and gated procedures. General CT experience is essential for this position. The cancellation policy allows for the cancellation of up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment. Charting is done using Cerner. No BSN is required for this position. Trauma level and care setting: Acute. Division: Allied. Shift notes: 9:30 PM - 7:30 AM.
