Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Over 1 year of experience required License: Valid RN license or Compact RN license required Certifications: AHA certifications only accepted Must-Have: FLU VAX REQUIRED - No exemptions will be made Travel experience preferred Every other weekend required Ability to work three days per week Description: FLU VAX is required with no exemptions. Travel experience is preferred. Every other weekend is a requirement. Block scheduling is available. The nurse may be put on call once every pay period. Scheduling flexibility is permitted as long as the nurse can work their three specified days each week. No extra certifications are required. Patient ratios are 6 patients per nurse for day and night shifts. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics. Daily census and patient diagnoses are based on unit needs. Interdisciplinary support is available within the unit. Candidates with open or pending background or license issues will not be accepted. Only local travelers may apply within a 65-mile radius. EMR experience is preferred, with a focus on Meditech.
