Automation Technician

We have a exciting career opportunity for an Automation Technician who will work as part of the ControlSoft team building and testing robotic & automation solutions for our customer client base. ControlSoft are developing the panel building business of the future utilising 3D panel design to facilitate semi-automatedDuties & ResponsibilitiesWorking from the design drawings to perform the mechanical and electrical assembly of bespoke machinesMechanical, electrical and pneumatic debug of machinesLiaise and communicate with the different project team membersResponsible for the quality of the buildResponsible for ensuring that machine build timelines and targets are achievedFactory & Site Acceptance TestingChecking of incoming parts and supplier componentsSite commissioning and handoverPlan and prioritise work, across multiple projects, and ensure completion.Work with multi-discipline teams to achieve project and company goals.Collaborate with project teams, sharing knowledge and working on problem solving.Contribute to Continuous Improvement within the department and across the business.Must be a self starter with a good attention to detail, willing to take ownership and responsibility to realise project milestones.QualificationsFETAC Level 7 in Mechanical/Fitting or similar discipline5+ years' experience in a similar roleAbility to interpret electrical, mechanical and pneumatic drawingsCapable of clearly understanding the functionality of the equipment being builtAbility to troubleshoot and develop creative solutions both mechanically and electricallyA high degree of craft skill with the ability to setup machines to fine tolerances to produce the desired resultsExcellent communication skillsProficient computer skills in MS office, experience with mechanical and electrical CAD software is an#J-18808-Ljbffr
