What You'll Do

• Conduct mental health screenings and assessments for inmates
• Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans based on evaluations
• Document treatment activities thoroughly in medical records
• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
• Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and mental health support
• Apply psychological counseling techniques and theories in treatment activities
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal inmate care

What You Need

• Active license/certification in mental health field
• Prior experience in mental health assessment and counseling preferred
• Strong knowledge of psychological theories and trauma-informed care
• Ability to work independently and in accordance with privacy standards
• US citizenship required for ICE clearance process

About the Assignment
This role is with a leading facility in Estancia, NM, dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health services to the inmate population.
