Lead Software Engineer - .NET/SQL Full Stack

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 5 years of applied experience
• Practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Strong backend development experience with C# and/or VB.NET, including API and service development
• Experience leading the effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools for coding, code review, testing, and troubleshooting, with standards for validating outputs for correctness, performance, and security
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, resilience, and security; experience coaching engineers on safe, compliant practices
• Strong SQL Server T-SQL skills, relational data modeling experience, and expertise in query optimization and indexing
• Frontend and web development experience with ASP.NET, JavaScript, jQuery, and Ajax
• Experience with relational databases, including Microsoft SQL Server, and exposure to Oracle
• Understanding of the ACBS Loan Servicing platform, servicing concepts, integration patterns, and operational considerations
• Experience supporting or delivering CLS API and Servicing Portal capabilities, including APIs and web experiences for servicing users and downstream consumers
• Preferred: Deep experience integrating with enterprise loan servicing platforms such as ACBS and building robust API layers
• Preferred: Experience with DB2
• Preferred: Financial services knowledge, including commercial lending and loan servicing workflows
• Preferred: Experience in regulated environments requiring strong risk management, controls, and auditability

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot creative software solutions, taking unconventional approaches where appropriate
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others
• Lead adoption of enterprise-approved AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes; establish validation standards and promote effective patterns
• Use software development lifecycle tools, including approved AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to increase the value of automation
• Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate recurring issue remediation and improve application and system stability
• Lead evaluation sessions with vendors, startups, and internal teams, assessing architectural designs, technical capabilities, and suitability for existing systems and information architecture
• Contribute critical technology solutions across business functions, with emphasis on the ACBS Loan Servicing platform, CLS API, and Servicing Portal
