Pride Health is seeking Certified Medical Assistant to join a team in Bridgeport, CT 06604. This is a 13 weeks contract.

Job Description:

• Obtaining and recording patient medical histories, vitals, test results, and other information for medical records while maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Coordinating the daily administrative activities, including scheduling, patient check-in and check-out, and patient medical record maintenance.
• Preparing treatment rooms for clinical examinations and as Certified assisting practitioners with medical procedures and other patient care.
• Delivering compassionate support, attention, and assistance to patients and families.
• Ensuring compliance with all health care regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.

Required:

• 2+ years preferred in a medical assistant and/or ambulatory healthcare front desk role.
• Medical Assistant Certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – must be certified through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• EPIC experience required.

Location : Bridgeport, CT 06604

Schedule : Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Contract length: 13 weeks
Pay Rate: $20.00/Hour - $24.00/Hour

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
