Under the direction of the Manager, Engineering Services, the Technician, Equipment Repair provides investigation, diagnostics and repair services for a wide variety of equipment including hydraulic, electrical, heating and ventilation, refrigeration, compressed air, natural gas, propane and pneumatics. The role is responsible for maintaining the work order systems, evaluating and maintaining repair records and coordination of external vendors for service that cannot be provided in house. Work is performed with considerable independent judgment, creativity and ingenuity to analyze and to resolve problems. Supervision received is general in nature using established procedures and general objectives.

Compliance with all state, federal, and accreditation standards/requirements, as well as all MATC policies and procedures.

Required Education & Experience: High School Diploma or G.E.D.; and three (3) years of relevant experience.

Required License: Valid state of WI Drivers License

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week). The schedule is MondayFriday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with travel required to all campuses. Hours and location are subject to change based on operational needs.
