LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE

Encompass Health seeks a compassionate LPN to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in our inpatient rehabilitation hospital. The LPN will provide bedside nursing, administer medications, monitor vitals, support rehabilitation plans, and assist RNs and therapists to help patients regain function and independence. Responsibilities include documentation, patient and family education, participation in care planning, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Provide direct bedside nursing care to adult rehab patients under RN supervision Administer medications and treatments per provider orders and facility protocols Monitor, record, and report vital signs, patient status, and responses to therapy Assist with rehabilitation-focused activities of daily living and mobility support Document care accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and team conferences Educate patients and families on recovery plans, medications, and self-care Maintain infection control and patient safety standards Respond to changes in patient condition and elevate concerns promptly Support a positive, patient-centered, and culturally sensitive care environment Medication administration Wound care Vital signs monitoring Rehabilitation nursing support Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation IV therapy and line care (per scope) Patient and family education Infection control practices Care plan implementation Patient mobility and transfer techniques Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current LPN/LVN license in state of practice BLS (Basic Life Support) certification ACLS preferred or obtained after hire Previous rehab, med-surg, or acute care experience preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Reporter Newspapers
