Position Detail:

Job Title: Business Cycle Analyst/Procurement Analyst/Cost Analyst

Duration: 12+ month contact with potential extension/conversion

Location: Houston Texas 77024

Pay rate: $40-46/hr

We’re seeking a dynamic Business Cycle Analyst to join our Exploration and Subsurface Teams, playing a key role in streamlining processes, managing data, and ensuring operational excellence. Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and manage Purchase Requisitions in SAP, ensuring accuracy and timely revisions.
• Collaborate with support units like Supply Chain and Finance to facilitate workflows.
• Support cost-control activities, contract lifecycle monitoring, and invoice resolution.
• Maintain and improve business databases and systems for operational efficiency.
• Assist in project closeouts, milestone planning, and compliance adherence.
• Communicate effectively across teams to achieve results and ensure business objectives are met.

Required Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong proficiency with ERP systems, especially SAP (purchasing and finance modules).
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, with understanding of data analytics tools like Power BI or Spotfire.
• Experience managing databases and project management software.
• Proficiency in French is a plus.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Familiarity with cost tracking, project lifecycle management, and contract administration.
• Advanced knowledge of data visualization tools and analytics.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Oil & Gas Management, or related field.
• More than three years of relevant industry experience, ideally in supporting operational or financial workflows.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal oversight.
• Flexibility in handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Immediate availability is preferred.
