Job Summary:

As a Parts and Service Assistant (PSA) , you will be the backbone of our service and lot operations. You'll assist with all aspects of inbound and outbound inventory, install parts, service trailers of all makes and models, and ensure our products look great for demonstrations. If you are mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and love a hands-on work environment, this is the role for you!

What You'll Do (Essential Duties):

Service & Maintenance: Help install parts/accessories, perform warranty work, and service trailers of various makes and models.
Quality Control: Conduct daily safety and quality control inspections of trailers on the lot.
Inventory & Deliveries: Assist with receiving parts, supplies, and trailer deliveries; handle inventory control as directed.
Equipment Operation: Safely operate power tools, welding equipment, forklifts, and tractors (we provide the company certification!).
Facility Care: Maintain a clean, organized, and professional shop, building, and lot environment to ensure safety and security.
Team Support: Collaborate with store management on trailer sales when needed (sales license required in some states) and participate in team meetings.

What We're Looking For:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills: Strong mechanical ability, troubleshooting skills, and an eye for detail.
Communication: Great customer service skills. Ability to read safety rules/manuals and effectively speak with team members and customers. (Spoken fluency in Spanish is a plus!)
Math & Reasoning: Ability to calculate basic figures (discounts, percentages, basic dimensions) and solve practical, hands-on problems.
Tech Savvy: Basic computer/keyboarding skills are helpful but not required.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

Must be able to routinely lift 50-75 lbs .
Comfortable kneeling, squatting, standing, climbing ladders, and balancing throughout the day.
Ability to work in various outdoor weather conditions (wet, humid, hot, or cold) and safely work around moving mechanical parts.
