Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech
Seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist / Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist for a 13-week assignment working four 10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM5:30 PM). The Cath Lab Tech will assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular, electrophysiology (EP), and peripheral vascular procedures while maintaining a safe, efficient, and high-quality procedural environment. This role also supports patient monitoring, emergency interventions, and quality improvement initiatives in a fast-paced cardiovascular setting.
Requirements:
- 2 years of Cath Lab, Electrophysiology (EP), or Vascular experience preferred
- Associate Degree required
- Must hold one of the following: RCIS, ARRT (R), MRT, RCES, CEPS, or CCDS
- BLS certification required (within 30 days of hire)
- ACLS certification required (within 30 days of hire)
- Experience with coronary, vascular, or EP procedures preferred
- Willingness to cross-train from Interventional Radiology (IR) accepted
- Strong sterile technique, critical thinking, and communication skills required
- Ability to participate in STEMI and holiday call rotations required
