Job Details Lead and mentor a team of Data Engineers, providing technical guidance, coaching, and day-to-day leadership. Design and evolve the company's enterprise data architecture, ensuring it is scalable, secure, and built for long-term growth. Build and optimize modern data pipelines that move data reliably across multiple business systems. Drive the organization's migration and adoption of a modern cloud-based data platform while improving existing Azure-based data solutions. Partner closely with AI engineers and business leaders to deliver the data infrastructure needed for analytics and AI initiatives. Establish engineering standards, best practices, and governance around data quality, modeling, documentation, and deployment. Make architectural decisions around data modeling, medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold), semantic models, and platform scalability. Lead sprint planning, project execution, and delivery using Azure DevOps while balancing multiple priorities. Work directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions. Identify opportunities to improve performance, reliability, automation, and operational efficiency across the data platform. What We're Looking For Experience leading Data Engineering teams Strong hands-on experience building modern cloud-based data platforms, preferably within Azure Experience with enterprise data warehousing, lakehouse, or cloud analytics environments Strong understanding of data architecture, ETL/ELT pipelines, dimensional modeling, and data integration Strong SQL skills and experience with modern data engineering technologies Knowledge of layered data architectures, semantic modeling, and enterprise data governance Experience with Agile development and project management tools Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders Ability to balance architecture and strategy with hands-on technical problem-solving Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
