Investment Operations Associate

Role Overview: We are seeking an Investment Operations Associate with experience in transaction operations, fund accounting, and reporting. The ideal candidate has worked at a private markets investment firm, a fund administrator, or a private-markets transaction or secondaries platform, and understands fund reporting, LP requests, capital calls, fund and SPV reporting/audits, distributions from investment exits, and other similar items. Key Responsibilities: Core Fund Operations Execute fund accounting processes and maintain accurate financial records Produce quarterly and annual fund reports for limited partners Process capital calls and coordinate investor funding Calculate and distribute proceeds from investment exits Monitor portfolio company performance and reporting Maintain investment records and valuation tracking Manage deal execution and closing documentation Track investment metrics and portfolio performance Investor Relations & Reporting Handle LP data requests and due diligence inquiries Create investor communications and performance updates Manage investor database and relationship systems Support annual meetings and investor presentations Compliance & Audit Management Coordinate fund and SPV audits with external auditors Ensure compliance with fund terms and regulatory requirements Prepare audit documentation and supporting schedules Manage regulatory filings and reporting deadlines Operational Excellence Manage SPV setup and ongoing administration Coordinate with fund administrators, legal teams, and service providers Maintain organized documentation and filing systems Execute month-end and quarter-end closing processes Ideal Candidate Profile: 2-7 years in private markets operations (VC / PE), fund accounting, fund administration, or a private-markets transaction / secondaries platform Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis Understanding of private markets fund structures, waterfalls, and economics Knowledge of capital call / distribution mechanics, deal execution, and investor reporting requirements Detail-oriented with exceptional accuracy in financial calculations and reporting Familiarity with audit processes and working with external service providers Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses Energetic and positive culture with a strong emphasis on team based success #J-18808-Ljbffr Goanna Capital Management
