Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to support an EPIC conversion project on a short-term contract. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Epic and Cerner systems, inpatient clinical pharmacy background, and relevant licensure.

Responsibilities:

Administer pharmaceutical services within inpatient clinical settings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with clinical protocols.
Collaborate with pharmacy and healthcare teams to facilitate Epic and Cerner system conversions.
Maintain proficiency with electronic health record systems, demonstrating strong technical competence.
Support medication distribution, inventory management, and documentation processes.
Adhere to regulatory standards, including CA licensing requirements, and document clinical activities accurately.

Qualifications:

Hold an active CA pharmacy technician license.
Possess Epic and Cerner electronic medical records experience, with a minimum of 6 months within the past 12 months.
Have a pharmaceutical technician board certification (preferred).
Preferably hold an associate's degree and inpatient clinical pharmacy experience.
Demonstrate at least one year of technical pharmacy experience.
Ability to start by 8/24/26, with orientation sessions on 8/3 or 8/17.
