Responsible for collaborating with other Job Families such within Technology and across our business partners to deliver consistent, reliable technology solutions that leverage AEP's technology standards, architectures and best practices. Independently performs advanced business and project analysis for any sized project.Job DescriptionWhat You'll Do:Essential Job Functions & Tasks:Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, technical, and security requirements for Maximo solutions.Translate business needs into secure Maximo configurations through process analysis, workflow design, and system setup.Design, develop, and administer complex Maximo security models, including roles, groups, permissions, and access controls.Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to deliver enhancements, projects, integrations, and support initiatives.Provide mentoring, guidance, and knowledge transfer to business analysts and project team members.Lead stakeholder workshops and requirements sessions to gather, refine, and validate business needs.Support technology investment planning, budgeting, and prioritization to maximize business value and operational efficiency.Partner with business and IT leadership to align Maximo strategy, roadmaps, and technology investments with organizational goals.Apply Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies to support Maximo implementations, upgrades, and modernization efforts.Develop business cases, process documentation, security designs, governance standards, and other key project deliverables.Support enterprise-scale Maximo environments by troubleshooting application, security, and data issues, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce licensing costs, and ensuring stable, secure operations.Additional Requirements:5 years of experience managing users and security within Maximo and/or Maximo Application Suite (MAS). 2 years of experience using SQL for data analysis.Preferred Skills & Experience:Relevant experience in a nuclear power plant or electric power generation utility is strongly preferred.What We're Looking For:Education and Work Experience requirements are listed below:Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business or related field of study; Or Associate's degree in computer science or related field of study with 2 years of relevant work experience; Or High school diploma/GED with 4 years of relevant work experience.Work Experience Requirements are listed below:In addition to any experience required above, 7 years of relevant work experience is required.What You'll Get:Base salaryAnnual bonusLong-term incentive401(k) matchAEP PensionComprehensive benefits package designed to support and enhance the overall well-being of employees.At AEP, we’re more than just an energy company — we’re a team of dedicated professionals committed to delivering safe, reliable, and innovative energy solutions.
