MRI Technologist

Seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team. The facility has 58 licensed beds and no trauma designation. There is one MRI imaging room available. Travelers must have at least 2-3 years of experience. Preference for candidates with prior travel experience, but first-time travelers may be considered. Majority of patients seen will be outpatients, with an average of 7-11 patients daily. Occasional inpatient cases may arise, primarily involving adults and geriatrics. ED patients may also be seen on occasion. The department operates with a lead tech and manager present. Support staff includes a tech assistant when staffing allows. Familiarity with EMR systems is necessary; experience with PACS is preferred. The technology in use includes GE MRI machines. Travelers may be expected to assist with patient lifting as needed. No on-call or weekend shifts are required. There may be an expectation to work one holiday during the assignment. Schedule cycles are released every six weeks. Scrub color is black, and closed-toed nursing or tennis shoes are required.
