You will write clean, well-tested Rails code against PostgreSQL databases, participate in code reviews and technical discussions, and collaborate with stakeholders to define and fulfill API requirements. The role is remote with a required 4-hour overlap with MDT for LatAm candidates.What You Will Do:Design, develop, and maintain APIs using Ruby on Rails.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand API requirements and specifications.Ensure API performance, scalability, and security.Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize API performance.Must Haves:3+ years of experience working with Ruby on Rails.Strong command of API design patterns and best practices in Rails.Solid understanding of protocols and JSON data structures.Experience with relational databases, e.g. PostgreSQL.Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote setup.In terms of working hours: The role will mostly follow the LATAM time zone, with a required 4-hour overlap with Colorado (MDT). For Ukraine-based candidates, a minimum of 2-hour overlap with MDT is required — though the more overlap, the better.
