Position Details
This is a Part-time position located at Substance Abuse Treatment Facility in Corcoran, CA, in Kings County . The role involves providing psychiatric services in a correctional setting, with a maximum of 40 hours per month.
Job Description and Duties
As a Staff Psychiatrist, you will deliver mental health services to the incarcerated population, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management, adhering to correctional healthcare standards.
Qualifications
- Current California medical license
- Board certification in Psychiatry or eligibility
- Experience in correctional or forensic psychiatry preferred
Additional Information
- Work hours are outside normal hours; time worked is outside your primary role and not overtime.
- Onsite dual appointments may be available at your primary institution.
