REGISTERED NURSE- ER MENTAL HEALTH HOLDS

Valley Hospital Medical Center, established 1972, is a 306‑bed acute care teaching hospital located in the heart of the Las Vegas Medical District. We provide evidence‑based patient care and maintain high standards in clinical pathways. Responsibilities Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. Records and follows Patient Centered Care principles. Oversees and guides employees under his/her supervision. Demonstrates service‑excellence standards at all times. Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a specialty course or equivalent within 6 months of hire. BSN preferred. Experience: One‑year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire. License/Certification: Current RN license in Nevada. Current BLS certification. Current ACLS certification (adult patients), PALS (pediatric) or NRP (neonatal) as required. Other certifications may be required. Other: Must successfully pass any pre‑employment assessment(s) required by the facility. An RN graduate performs directly under the supervision of the Charge Nurse or RN designee.
