Our capabilities span the world of Additive Manufacturing/3D printing and the entirety of the manufacturing process from design ideation to product engineering to manufacturing and services in the field.The Implementation Consultant is responsible for delivering and supporting implementations of PTC data management tools, with a strong focus on the Windchill suite of products. This role works closely with clients to install, configure, upgrade, and optimize solutions based on project plans and Statements of Work (SOWs), while ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. The Implementation Consultant also serves as a trusted advisor to clients by providing technical guidance, process support, and best-practice recommendations related to product lifecycle management (PLM) and Windchill solutions.Job DescriptionResponsibilities, skills, and knowledge may be representative, but not all-inclusive of those commonly associated with the position.Project Delivery & ImplementationDeliver and manage implementations of PTC data management tools, including the Windchill suite of products, in alignment with established project plans and Statements of Work (SOWs).Execute project tasks within defined timelines and budget constraints while maintaining a high level of quality and client satisfaction.Support customer implementations through system setup, deployment, and solution execution.System Installation, Configuration & UpgradesInstall, configure, rehost, and upgrade Windchill solutions, including applicable third-party software that supports customer environments.Configure client solutions to meet technical and business requirements, ensuring system functionality aligns with customer needs.Assist with workflow modifications, configuration changes, and change management-related updates within Windchill.Documentation & Solution DesignDocument solution designs, use cases, configuration changes, customizations, and case studies to support internal knowledge sharing and client success.Translate business and technical requirements into implementation plans and system configurations.Maintain accurate project and technical documentation throughout the implementation lifecycle.Client Communication & SupportMaintain open, professional, and clear communication with clients throughout the implementation and design process to ensure goals and deliverables are met.Provide service, technical support, and mentoring to clients on system functionality, workflows, change management, content management, and configurations.Serve as a trusted point of contact for implementation-related questions and issue resolution.Continuous Improvement & Team SupportContribute to process improvement initiatives, knowledge sharing, and best practices related to Windchill and PLM implementations.Collaborate effectively with internal teams and client stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.Perform other duties as assigned to support evolving business and customer needs.QualificationsAn equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Engineering, or another related technical field preferred2–3 years of experience managing product information or product data using PTC tools.1–2 years of system administrator experience in CAD, IT, or data management environments.Experience with Windchill programs, including installation, configuration, and migration to meet customer requirements.Technical Knowledge & Preferred ExperienceWorking knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) business processes.Experience with Change Management, including process analysis, design, and configuration within PDMLink, preferred.Experience with Windchill Foundation, BOM / Configuration Management, MPMLink, ERP Connector, and ESI preferred.Java, SQL, and REST experience preferred.Windchill+ experience highly preferred.Communication & Collaboration SkillsStrong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to communicate effectively with clients, project teams, and internal stakeholders.Ability to provide technical mentoring and support to customers in a clear and professional manner.Organization & Work StyleStrong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.Ability to work independently with focus, discipline, and accountability to achieve customer and company goals.Ability to work successfully in deadline-driven environments and adapt to changing priorities.Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively while maintaining a high level of productivity and output.Ability to perform well in high-pressure situations and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Additional InformationCompensationBase Annual Salary is $100-120 K for this salaried, exempt Full-Time remote USA positionEligible for variable payBenefitsMedical insuranceEmployer Paid Short Term DisabilityFlexible PTO (take as you need, no accrual)Vision insuranceDental Insurance401(k) Plan with Employer matchBasic Life, AD&D, and Disability InsuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramPaid HolidaysWork EnvironmentAbility to work in a remote environment or in-office.Exposed to moderate noise levels.Physical AbilitiesLight sedentary office work.Ability to travel to sites throughout North America as needed.Some overnight travel may be required.This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position.
