Radiologic Technologist Xray – Urgent Care (2296515) 10,000 Sign on Bonus for External Candidates Optum NY (formerly Optum Tri‑State NY) is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our team in Jericho, NY Urgent Care. As a member of the Optum Care Delivery team, you’ll play an integral part in our vision to make healthcare better for everyone. Schedule: Sunday 1:50 p‑10:00 p, Tuesday and Thursday 7:00 a‑10:00 p. Primary Responsibilities Perform diagnostic X‑ray examinations Conduct radiology quality assurance Takes vital signs, performs EKGs and assists providers with patient care Prepare exam rooms and X‑ray room for patients and document patient encounters in EMR Perform lab testing and quality assurance Prepare and track specimens sent to lab Perform MA duties as needed Restock and maintain inventory of exam rooms, lab and storage rooms Place outgoing phone calls to patients for follow‑up care and handle incoming telephone calls from patients Assist with other tasks as assigned Required Qualifications Graduate from an accredited radiology technologist program NYS radiology licensure and ARRT registration Customer‑service experience and solid computer skills required Preferred Qualifications Experience with diagnostic X‑ray EMR experience Medical office experience; Urgent Care experience Pay and Benefits The hourly pay for this role will range from $23.41 to $41.83 per hour based on full‑time employment.
