2nd Shift - Painter PositionAs a Sr. Reconditioning Associate II, you will play a vital role in ensuring every vehicle meets our paint and cosmetic standards before reaching our customers. This position involves performing advanced paint application, minor repairs, sanding, grinding, and paint preparation. You’ll also support related reconditioning duties as needed, contributing to a team that values precision, quality, and efficiency. Your expertise helps deliver vehicles that meet standards—creating an exceptional experience for every customer.Role ResponsibilitiesPerform complete paint applications, including color matching and mixing for a quality finishExecute minor repairs such as sanding and grinding to restore vehicle surfacesMaintain paint preparation standards to ensure vehicles meet quality guidelinesCollaborate in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives with your teamFollow standardized work processes and maintain compliance with Paint StandardsKeep all equipment and tools in optimal condition, ensuring safety and efficiencyFollow Our Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area.Required QualificationsCompletion of New Associate Orientation Training – OperationsAbility to meet performance standards and workstation certifications for all related rolesSkilled in reading, interpreting, and recording data accurately and performing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-energy environmentProficient in color discernment and paint application techniquesPhysical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors/outdoors in varying conditionsStrong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team membersRequired to use provided respiratory protection. If such an Associate does work on a scheduled holiday due to business need, they are eligible for Holiday Premium Pay.Associates considered full-time salaried are entitled to paid time away with no specified limit as needed for sick, vacation, bereavement, jury duty, holidays, floating holiday, etc. subject to manager approval.
