Job Description

The Test Stand Operator is responsible for operating production test equipment to verify the performance and quality of aircraft components prior to shipment. This role involves repetitive but critical tasks that require a dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused individual who consistently follows established procedures. The position is available on 2nd shift (2:15 p.m. – 10:45 p.m.) and 3rd shift (10:15 p.m. – 6:45 a.m.).

Responsibilities

• Operate production test stands and automated testing equipment to verify aircraft components meet required specifications before shipment.
• Perform electrical and mechanical assembly tasks associated with preparing components for testing.
• Set up, run, and monitor production equipment according to established procedures and work instructions.
• Conduct inspections of parts and assemblies to identify defects, irregularities, or deviations from standards.
• Follow detailed procedures and test protocols consistently to ensure accurate and repeatable results.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively during assembly and test preparation activities.
• Read and interpret basic blueprints or diagrams, when applicable, to support assembly and testing processes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with facility safety guidelines.
• Handle aircraft parts and assemblies with care, ensuring proper manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with production team members to meet daily output and quality targets.
• Report equipment issues, test anomalies, or quality concerns promptly to appropriate personnel.
• Document test results and inspection findings accurately as required by production and quality procedures.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Collins, CO.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Fort Collins,CO.
