DevOps Engineer, Flight Software

Salary: $92,000 - 132,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• We look for 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps engineering, release automation, or cloud infrastructure.
• We need strong hands-on expertise scaling CI/CD pipelines, with GitHub Actions or similar workflows preferred.
• We expect proven experience provisioning and managing AWS cloud infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform.
• We require solid scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or similar tools, along with Linux system administration experience.
• Preferred background includes owning and improving CI/CD systems in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
• Familiarity with embedded systems challenges such as cross-compilation and integration with physical devices or HITL testbeds is preferred.
• Experience supporting software teams using compiled languages such as C++ or Rust is a plus.
• Docker and container optimization experience is also preferred.

• We design and scale dependable CI/CD pipelines using AWS and GitHub workflows to enable reproducible, observable testing.
• We provision and administer AWS and on-premises compute resources with Terraform.
• We connect embedded flight software, simulation, test environments, and IT infrastructure.
• We support the expansion of Software in the Loop (SIL) and Hardware in the Loop (HITL) test infrastructure.
• We write software and integrate with existing tools to deliver a world-class developer experience.
