Details Work in the Main Operating Room of a hospital setting Supports a wide range of surgical specialties including orthopedic, trauma, general/GYN, urology, ENT, plastics, pain management, ophthalmology, neuro/spine, and vascular procedures Utilizes the Da Vinci Xi robotic surgical system 1:1 patient ratio Day shift schedule (4x10 hours), 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Tuesday through Friday Call requirement of 1 weekday and 1 weekend per month Cerner charting system experience preferred Requirements Active RN license (TX or Compact) required Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS Minimum of 3 years of Operating Room experience preferred Teaching hospital experience required Community hospital experience required LTAC experience required Trauma Level II experience required Trauma Level I experience preferred Previous charge nurse experience preferred Prior travel nursing experience required Two supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration Additional Information Perform circulating and scrub duties across a broad range of surgical specialties and procedures Facility conducts its own onsite drug screening upon arrival, which includes marijuana testing; a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions Candidates should avoid any substances, including CBD products, that could result in a positive drug screen prior to arrival Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted RTO must be submitted with initial consideration American Traveler Job ID P-738077.
