Transportation Driver

Overview The Center at CenterPlace, located in Greeley, CO, is seeking a Part Time Transport Driver (Van Driver) to safely transport facility residents to and from appointments while providing quality customer service. The position is hourly with a rate of $20.00 per hour. The role is part‑time and will be performed in person at the Greeley location. Responsibilities Review patient information prior to appointments to determine patient needs, verifying details with nursing staff as necessary. Implement customer‑service standards, resolve problems, and complete transportation system improvements. Stay with patients at appointments to provide assistance upon request. Enter orders for appointments and transportation and retrieve or send diagnostic labs needed for appointments. Determine best routes to and from appointments, including equipment requirements for patient loading and unloading. Maintain equipment operation by establishing and enforcing preventive maintenance rules; arrange for repairs, oil changes, and other needed services. Provide and troubleshoot medical equipment for patient transport, including oxygen, wheelchairs, gurneys, and IVs. Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations. Transport new admissions and occasional discharges. Education High school diploma or GED (required). High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Experience and Requirements One year of van driving experience (preferred). Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, and crouch repetitively. Must be able to push a minimum of 200 pounds for a long distance. Must be able to lift bulky heavy items up to 100 pounds. Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
