Key Responsibilities Supervise Production Activities: Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality specifications Team Leadership: Manage, train, and motivate production workers; foster a positive, productive work environment Quality Control: Monitor processes to meet quality standards; implement corrective actions when needed Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols, conduct inspections, and provide safety training Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiency gains, reduce waste, and lead continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Kaizen events) Inventory Management: Track raw materials and finished goods; coordinate with procurement for timely material availability Reporting: Maintain production data records; prepare and submit reports to the Plant Manager Problem-Solving: Address and resolve production issues promptly to minimize disruptions Communication: Serve as a liaison between management and production staff, ensuring clear communication of goals, changes, and updates Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency with manufacturing software/tools Knowledge: Understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods.
