Description

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position at an acute care hospital, requiring an active NC or compact RN license and 2+ years of experience.

Details

• Work in the Medical Surgical Combination unit of an 86-bed acute care hospital
• 24-bed unit with adult patient population
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed weekly hours
• Weekend rotation varies, working every other or every third weekend
• No on-call requirements
• Float required based on unit rotation
• Uses Paragon EHR system

Requirements

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA certifications required)
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience required
• Strong Medical Surgical clinical competencies required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical surgical patients
• Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Must not be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
• 13-week assignment length
