Job Description Orthopaedic Surgeon – Adult Reconstruction Opportunity Location: Duluth, Minnesota Join a Leading Orthopaedic Team at Essentia Health – St. Mary's Medical Center, a 330‑bed tertiary care hospital and Level I Trauma Center. Practice Highlights Collaborative environment with 14 orthopaedic surgeons and 10 NP/PAs across multiple subspecialties. Dedicated joint program coordinator and 10‑physician medical orthopaedic section, plus a 4‑physician podiatry section. Advanced technology: Mako robotic platform enhances surgical precision. High volume: Approximately 1,200 total joint replacements annually, with growth potential. Flexible outreach opportunities to expand practice. Balanced call schedule: 1:9 compensated call rotation at a Level I Trauma Center (≈30 call nights per year). State‑of‑the‑art EMR – EPIC system. Comprehensive rehabilitation services. Community engagement: cover local athletic teams. Requirements Board certified or board eligible in orthopaedics. Fellowship training in joint replacement. Compensation Base salary of $622,119.
