Nature and Scope The Physical Therapy Assistant implements patient's individualized treatment plan as established by the primary physical therapist to optimize the functional abilities and skills of patient's. You will works with other members of the rehabilitation team to implement programs consistent with the needs and capabilities of each patient. Instructs/Communicates with patients, families and other caregivers in the skills and techniques of the physical therapy treatment program under the supervision of the physical therapist. You will provide timely written documentation as required by insurance provider to meet licensing, certification, regulatory and reimbursement requirements and support and participate in department operations and development. Location You may be requested to travel between the two offices situated in Quincy, CA, and Greenville, CA. Compensation Compensation for Benefited, Full-Time Pay Scale Base Rate: $38.85–$55.39 per hour (or $80,808.00–$115,212.89 annually) Starting pay is determined using our clinical pay scales, which feature 13 steps recognizing up to 30 years of relevant experience. Eligible employees may also receive shift differential and holiday pay Hiring Incentive: $5,000.00 Job Status / Shift Information Full-Time Qualifications Education: Graduate of an APTA accredited school physical therapy Current California Physical Therapy Assistant License. Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification, approved by the AHA. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Demonstrates respectful conversation in tone and content. Assures patient privacy. Actively involves the parent/guardian in care/teaching.
