Malignant Hematologist

Role Overview Piedmont Oncology is seeking a skilled Malignant Hematologist to lead the program for patients with hematologic malignancies and related disorders, providing patient‑centered care and driving clinical excellence, program growth, novel therapeutics, and research across Piedmont Healthcare. This full‑time position is located at our flagship site in Atlanta and spans the network’s 27‑hospital system. Qualifications: The ideal BC/BE candidate will be self‑motivated, hold a Georgia medical license, possess strong communication skills, and have a genuine compassion for patients and their families. The successful candidate will practice in an outpatient clinic and supervise an infusion center near the clinic. Practice Details Clinical Environment Lead a multidisciplinary hematology and oncology team, diagnosing and treating leukemias, lymphomas, myeloma, and related disorders. Work within a patient‑centered program committed to comprehensive cancer care. Advanced Treatment Capabilities Lead the development of advanced therapies including CART and other cellular‑based therapies. Direct novel clinical trials in hematologic oncology. Program Growth & Clinical Trials Engagement Shape program expansion across Piedmont Healthcare. Contribute to clinical and quality initiatives that elevate care statewide. Participate in medical education and training activities within the collaborative environment.
