Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program. Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred. Proficiency in phlebotomy and specimen collection techniques. Basic knowledge of medical instruments and sterilization procedures. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working alongside nurse practitioners or in a clinical healthcare setting. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Strong communication and multitasking skills. CPR and First Aid certification. Bilingual abilities to assist a diverse patient population. Responsibilities: Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and recording medical histories. Process and label specimens for laboratory testing following established protocols. Sterilize medical instruments and maintain a clean clinical environment to prevent infection. Manage patient scheduling, answer phones, and handle administrative tasks to support office operations. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
