Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain sterility of all medical, surgical, and radiological supplies for each CT procedure
• Accurately complete and verify patient requisitions and identification, adhering to all HIPAA standards
• Communicate effectively with patients and families before, during, and after procedures to alleviate anxiety while ensuring privacy and dignity
• Assess patient condition before and after contrast injections; promptly report changes to clinicians
• Maintain and monitor medical records, reports, and necessary patient information
• Triage emergent and unscheduled procedures, ensuring efficient workflow and patient safety within CT assignments
• Clean and inventory CT equipment and supplies, and perform quality assurance checks per established protocols
• Screen patients for allergies, medication incompatibilities, and assess contrast tolerance
• Notify leadership of equipment or supply issues and unusual imaging or equipment conditions
• Adhere strictly to venipuncture and power injector protocols

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid ARRT (CT) or equivalent certification
• Proven experience as a CT technologist
• Strong clinical judgment and commitment to patient safety
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced, high-volume environments
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
