Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol in Rome, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this active role, you will support daily operations with an agile, reliable, and innovative approach while working as part of a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $14.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 11:00 PM - 08:00 AM Tue: 11:00 PM - 08:0 AM Wed: 11:00 PM - 08:00 AM Sun: 08:00 PM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries in alignment with site procedures. Support facility operations by communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed during incidents, disturbances, or maintenance-related concerns with security-related impact. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
