Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/07/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, evenings Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: The Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) at a rural healthcare facility in Weaverville, California. This role involves performing advanced imaging examinations using all modalities, with a focus on CT procedures, supporting diagnosis and patient care in a fast-paced environment. The position offers an opportunity to work with a dedicated team dedicated to providing quality diagnostic services. Job Details: Schedule: Evening shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Graduate of an Accredited Radiology Program with an Associate of Science Degree; current California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) licensure; American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification preferred; two years of experience in an acute care setting preferred; experience in at least two modalities; BLS Certification required; experience in a freestanding diagnostic imaging facility may substitute for acute care experience. Demonstrates the knowledge and skill necessary to provide patient care based on physical, psychosocial, educational and safety criteria, appropriate to the age of the patient. Able to perform duties with minimal supervision, demonstrate effective communication skills, and maintain proper documentation and confidentiality. Ability to react quickly and efficiently in emergency situations and equipment breakdowns. Willingness to participate in CQI monitoring, handle call responsibilities, and adapt to staffing needs including weekends and holidays. Responsible for ensuring proper safety standards and departmental compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Ability to adjust contrast media appropriately for different age groups and use shielding effectively. Maintain strict patient confidentiality and ensure a safe working environment.
