IAM Analyst

Remote Our client seeks an IAM Analyst to perform the analysis, documentation, and evidence work that enables an identity program to operate after engineering completes implementation. You will build the application authentication inventory, design the access review and run its first cycle, create runbooks and governance documentation, and hand over processes to named owners. Identity governance documentation does not exist today. This role converts engineering outputs into sustainable operations. You will work paired with three identity engineers on the same workstream. Responsibilities: Build and maintain the application authentication inventory, including each application, its current authentication path, its owner, and its target state. Design the access review, including scope, reviewers, cadence, evidence, and actions when a reviewer does not respond. Configure the access review cycle in Entra ID Governance and run the first cycle. Author administrative runbooks and identity governance documentation alongside engineers. Assemble the evidence pack for the quarterly identity test cadence with executive sign-off. Track joiner, mover, and leaver exceptions through the provisioning cutover and close each item. Run handover to named owners to ensure cadences continue after the engagement ends. Experience Requirements: IAM analyst or identity governance experience in a Microsoft identity estate, including Entra ID, Active Directory, group and role structures, and entitlements. Experience designing and running access reviews or user access certification campaigns end to end. Strong written documentation skills with deliverables that outlive the engagement.
