As a Security Officer in a dynamic retail location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming experience for shoppers and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.10 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail and mall locations, including sales areas, stockrooms, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas. Monitor access points and observe activity to help deter unauthorized entry, theft, and other security-related concerns. Document incidents, observations, and policy violations, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
