PART-TIME MECHANICAL ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN

CaviBlaster is looking for a reliable, mechanically inclined individual to join our team at our facility in Northgate Business Park in Sarasota, Florida.
Our equipment is used around the world by commercial divers, shipyards, navies, offshore energy companies, and marine maintenance contractors for underwater cleaning and maintenance.
Responsibilities include:
✔ Equipment cleaning and preparation
✔ Light mechanical assembly
✔ Organizing parts and inventory
✔ Packaging and shipping equipment
✔ Assisting with equipment testing and repairs
✔ Maintaining a clean and organized shop
Ideal candidates may have experience in:
- Mechanical assembly
- Automotive repair
- Marine maintenance
- Manufacturing
- Trades and technical work
Requirements:
- Comfortable using hand tools
- Dependable and detail-oriented
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Owning a truck with trailer hitch is a plus
Schedule: Flexible, 15–30 hours per week
This position offers the opportunity to learn about advanced underwater cleaning technology used by customers throughout North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
