Position Overview

We are seeking skilled Respiratory Care Practitioners to join our team. The ideal candidate must hold a valid Respiratory Care Practitioners License and possess strong clinical skills to provide exceptional patient care.

Shift Information

Shift Type: Day 5x8-Hour (08:30 AM - 05:00 PM)
Weekend Coverage: Required; must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Job Requirements & Qualifications

Licenses: Must have a Respiratory Care Practitioners License
Years of Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a similar role
Charting System Experience: Required; experience with Epic is a must
Certifications: BLS, RPSGT, RRT, SDS, or RRT with SDS
Community Hospital Experience: Preferred
Total Patient Ratios: 1:2 for adults and 1:1 for pediatrics

Skills Required

End-Tidal CO2 monitoring
Adult and Pediatric Multiple Sleep Latency Test (MSLT)
Polysomnography (PSG) scoring and analysis
CPAP and BiPAP administration
Patient education on respiratory care
Infection control practices
Use of specialized equipment such as Alice 6 G3 and ResMed CPAP units

Facility & Patient Care Details

Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
Number of Rooms: 6
Daily Census: Varies
