Outpatient Physical Therapist - New Grad

This position offers a flexible 40-hour workweek with shifts based on a 5x8 schedule.

The Outpatient Physical Therapist will evaluate all assigned patients, developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans that align with each patient's specific needs and physician directives. This role encompasses the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs for effective community reintegration. The therapist will also serve as an educator to patients, families, colleagues, and students, while adhering to organizational compliance and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and create individualized treatment plans focused on patient goals and needs.
• Provide clear, concise, and accurate medical record documentation that adheres to regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in a student program, providing mentorship and assessment.
• Develop a professional growth plan, pursuing continuing education and self-study opportunities.
• Comply with state practice acts and maintain professional licensure.
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Outpatient clinical experience of 6 months to 1 year preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active and applicable state licensure for physical therapy.

Assignment Duration:

This is a 13-week contract position.
