***Client in West Chester is looking to hire 2 Quality Inspectors***

Pay: $25-$30

Shift: 1st Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm

Job Description

Lead the Quality department by overseeing processes and ensuring the inspection of mechanical parts and components. Responsible for the inspection of welded, machined parts, sheet metal, aluminum, and incoming raw materials. Conduct internal audits, manage paperwork, and address nonconformance issues. Follow blueprints according to customer specifications and ensure all inspections meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Quality department and manage processes.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections of mechanical parts and components.
• Inspect welded, machined parts, sheet metal, and aluminum components.
• Inspect incoming raw materials and verify dimensions.
• Conduct internal audits and manage quality documentation.
• Address nonconformance issues and provide replies to customers.
• Ensure adherence to AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.
• Follow blueprints as per customer specifications.

Essential Skills

• 10+ years of aerospace quality inspection experience.
• 3+ years of lead experience.
• Proficiency in AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.
• Blueprint reading skills.
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, gauges, verniers, and scales.
• GD&T inspection skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Auditing experience is a plus.
• CMM experience is a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of West Chester, PA.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in West Chester,PA.
