Role Description The Showroom Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Piscataway, NJ. This role involves greeting customers, understanding their project needs, and guiding them through product selections for bath, kitchen, and home lighting. The consultant will provide detailed product information, demonstrate showroom displays, and prepare quotes and orders in coordination with internal teams. Daily responsibilities include maintaining an organized and visually appealing showroom, following up with customers on project progress, and ensuring a positive and professional experience from initial consultation through purchase. The consultant will collaborate with designers, contractors, and homeowners, using strong communication and customer service skills to support sales and build long-term relationships. Qualifications Ability to apply strong product knowledge to bath, kitchen, and lighting solutions, and experience working in showrooms or retail environments. Commitment to customer satisfaction through attentive listening, needs assessment, and solution-focused recommendations. Effective communication skills, including clear verbal and written interactions with homeowners, designers, and contractors. Demonstrated customer service skills, with a focus on professionalism, follow-through, and managing multiple customer projects. Previous experience in plumbing, fixtures, lighting, interior design, or related fields is beneficial. Comfort using point-of-sale and CRM systems, with strong organizational and time-management capabilities. Ability to stand and move around the showroom for extended periods and handle light physical tasks related to product displays.
