A mixologist serves as a beverage expert focused on the art of crafting, developing, and serving high-quality cocktails. Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Adhering to state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Preparing select cocktails in front of guests, mixing ingredients, and using advanced techniques.
• Interacting with fans, offering recommendations based on flavor preferences, and explaining cocktail ingredients and history.
• Engaging with fans and providing a memorable experience.
• Setting up the assigned bar, requisitioning, and stocking all spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice, and produce.
• Maintaining stock, preparing, curing, and storing all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables to ensure product quality.
• Greeting guests in a courteous, friendly manner.
• Taking and/or processing orders for drinks, mixing, garnishing, and presenting drinks using standard ingredient recipes, and practicing prudent portion control.
• Checking guests at the bar for proper identification.
• Detecting and acting upon guest inebriation as trained, demonstrating knowledge of liquor laws.
• Performing general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards, keeping the work area clean and organized.
• Arranging bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in the bar area.
• Washing and sterilizing stemware.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
