Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Newton, NJ
Pay Rate: $70/hour
Employment Type: Full-Time Contract
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM | No On Call | No Weekends | No Float | No Call Back

About the Opportunity
A hospital in Newton, NJ is seeking Nuclear Medicine Technologists for contract positions. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule with no on call, weekend, float, or call back requirements, performing general nuclear medicine imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform general nuclear medicine imaging procedures, including bone, hepatobiliary, lung, and thyroid scans
• Prepare, handle, and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
• Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and imaging staff
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, radiation safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• ARRT (N) or CNMT certification for Nuclear Medicine required
• New Jersey State License for Nuclear Medicine required
• CPR certification required
• BS in Nuclear Medicine or graduate of an approved RT and Nuclear Medicine program required
• Minimum 1 year of nuclear medicine experience required
• Experience in general nuclear medicine (bone scan, hepatobiliary scan, lung scan, thyroid scan) preferred

Schedule Details

• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
• No on call, weekends, float, or call back
