Ultrasound Technologist
Location: Smyrna, TN
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8:30 PM - 7:00 AM
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. This role will require a patient care-focused individual who is a self-starter and independent professional. The Ultrasound Technologist will utilize GE Logiq E9 XD Clear Ultrasound machines to perform a variety of studies, ensuring outstanding patient service and adherence to protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Perform OB/GYN, vascular, abdominal, and pediatric ultrasound studies.
- Follow hospital and departmental policies for high-level disinfection.
- Provide excellent patient/customer service throughout procedures.
- Document all procedures in Meditech (EMR) and FUJI Synapse (PACS).
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with OB/GYN and ABD specialties.
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
