Senior Litigation Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Senior Litigation Associate to join its New Jersey-based litigation team. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse caseload across multiple areas of civil litigation while working in a collaborative and supportive environment. Duties Manage cases from inception through resolution Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda Take and defend depositions Prepare for and attend hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trials Communicate regularly with clients and provide case updates Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and experts to develop case strategies Prepare status reports and ensure compliance with deadlines Requirements 7 to 10 years of civil litigation experience Experience handling cases independently from start to finish Experience in state and federal courts in New Jersey Experience with depositions, dispositive motions, and discovery Familiarity with arbitrations and mediations Strong advocacy and case management abilities Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school Certifications Admission to the New Jersey State Bar Skills Strong litigation and courtroom advocacy skills Excellent legal research and writing abilities Effective communication and client management skillsAttention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Benefits Hybrid work arrangement Health insurance including medical, dental, and vision 401(k) retirement plan Life insurance and health savings account Flexible spending account Flexible paid time off Employee discounts Mobile phone reimbursement Professional development and education programs #J-18808-Ljbffr BCG Attorney Search
