Orthodontic Dental Assistant

Dental Assistant Deerwood Orthodontics is looking for a full-time Dental Assistant to join our team. This position will support both our Appleton-Ballard and Green Bay locations, so the selected candidate must be comfortable traveling between both offices. We are seeking a dependable, organized, and adaptable team member who has strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Dental experience is preferred, and orthodontic experience is considered a strong plus; however, prior dental experience is not required. We are open to an exceptional candidate who demonstrates professionalism, a strong work ethic, outstanding references, and a genuine desire to learn and grow. The ideal candidate will be willing to learn, cross-train, support the needs of the team, and help provide an exceptional experience for every patient.

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology Experience working in a patient- or customer-centered environment
• If required under the state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment

Preferred Experience

• Dentrix or other dental software experience
• Dental assisting school certification
