Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN to join a dynamic and fast-paced Emergency Room/Emergency Department team in Mount Pleasant, TX. This travel position provides a valuable opportunity for a competent nurse to apply their skills in a 16-bed ER with a focus on trauma, stroke, and STEMI cases within a 24/7 cath lab environment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administer medications and treatments as per protocol, monitoring for side-effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
• BLS (AHA only), ACLS (AHA only), PALS (AHA only), TNCC certifications
• RN License in state of TX or compact
